EV Titan is an “American” manufacturer. But I did a little digging and found that they are actually manufactured in China, imported to Texas, and assembled at the Golf Carts Of Cypress warehouse. Their carts claim to combine performance, style, and customization, but not without some hurdles for new buyers.

Company Overview:

Established in Sheridan, Wyoming. So they say…

We did a little more digging… This is just a cover for their importing. The address provided is a little building on Google Maps with no manufacturing facility anywhere in the area. And why would they be all the way out in BFE when their carts are sold out of Texas? Makes you think, right?

They emphasize that upgrades should come standard, eliminating the need for costly customizations. However, when you talk to their sales rep on the phone, they throw a whole slew of upgrade options, with a kicker. You have to pay for each one of them. The ol’ switcheroo.

Enough said, now let’s check out their cart models.

Warranty and Support:

EV Titan offers a 3-year, unlimited-mile warranty on their golf carts, complemented by a 5 year warranty on the battery. This coverage is serviced through Axiom, a nationwide electric golf car warranty company. It’s important to note that any modifications made to the carts not performed by an authorized dealer may void the warranty.

Ordering one an EV Titan golf cart from out of state might sound like a ticket to quick savings, but it can feel like a wild ride without the right support! Many buyers quickly learn that finding a local technician to work on an out-of-state cart purchases is no easy feat—especially when it’s a brand that isn’t popular in the area.

Warranty claims? Well, let’s just say they’re often a test of patience, with long wait times for parts and priority given to local customers. Without a nearby dealer in your corner, you could be left stranded when repairs pop up, making that “great deal” feel like more of a solo adventure than you bargained for.

Customization and Accessories:

EV Titan emphasizes customization, offering various accessories such as golf bag holders, onboard smart chargers, and extended roofs with safety grab handles. Their carts are designed to be “street-legal”, but unless they are gone through the The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).

Prospective buyers should verify the specific model’s compliance with LSV standards before purchase. If you plan on getting a title, registration, and plates on your EV Titan you will want to call your local DMV/MVD to check, just to make sure. I’m only aware of about 5 states that will title these things if they don’t have a FMVSS certification.

Availability:

EV Titan golf carts are available through authorized dealers across the United States. Prospective buyers can explore different models and configurations to find a cart that aligns with their specific requirements.

Weird thing is, I could only find two dealers and it’s the same company that imports them into the states – Golf Carts Of Cypress.

My Conclusion:

EV Titan brings a refreshing variety to the electric golf cart scene, packing their lineup with performance, advanced tech, and customizable options galore. From sleek designs to user-friendly features, there’s something for everyone, making it easy to find a cart that suits your style and needs. But, while the carts look good on paper, some buyers find themselves hitting a few speed bumps with reliability and support once they’re out on the road.
