MammothEV Golf Cart Review
They hit the scene in 2020 and looks to have been growing pretty rapidly. But are they a good buy? Let’s find out.
Based in Gilbert, Arizona, this electric golf cart brand isn’t just about carts; it’s about giving the old golf course cruiser a serious glow-up. But they aren’t without their issues either, just like every brand seems to have.
It looks like, from my research, they have a distribution center in Boise, ID and another in Gilbert, AZ. Arizona also has their main office location. I found 3 dealers on the west coast but there seems be a a dealer that leads the sales of this brand, Goat Golf Carts. They’re dealership is located at 2640 E. State Ave. #140 Meridian, ID. 83642. I’m going to assume the Idaho distribution center is to support their sales… but who really knows?
Their models come in a few different configurations you kind get all the specs here: XR2, XR4, XR4F (forward facing four seats) and XR6. They come standard with LiFeP04 lithium-ion batteries (witch seems to be the industry standard for quality as many other carts contain this battery), six-inch lifted suspensions (or lowered, for a course), and diamond cross stitched leather seats. These features are pretty standard on other brands I have researched as well.
MammothEV manufacturing originates out of the country, then assembled in AZ and ID. Just like all carts besides ClubCar and EZGo, they are manufactured out of the states.
As I dug deeper with all this China import news I came across something pretty interesting. ClubCar and EZ-GO are manufacturing out of the country TOO! Despite their claim as USA made.
Here’s the proof and this is all public record if you know where to look:
Club Car LLC Chinese import records for 2020 – 2024. Crazy right??
https://www.trademo.com/companies/club-car-inc/24846494
EZGO Chinese import records for 2020 – 2024.
https://www.trademo.com/companies/e-z-go/3299777
So now we know, every single cart in the USA is originating from China!
MammothEV does seem to stand by their carts, however, as they come with lifetime coverage on batteries and ten years for parts on 2025 models. That’s pretty solid peace of mind. I have only found two other dealers that offer the lifetime warranty on their batteries and those are: TitanEV and Atlas Carts.
MammothEV Golf Cart Lineup
XR2
The first cart is their XR2 model. You can get these in lowered or lifted. But I found that most users choose the lowered model made for the course.
The MammothEV XR2 is a pretty loaded electric golf cart designed for performance and comfort. It features a powerful 5,000-watt AC electric motor, delivering speeds up to 30 mph. The maintenance-free lithium-ion battery offers an estimated range of 45 miles and charges in 3-5 hours using a standard 110v outlet.
Measuring 96 inches in length, 44 inches in width, and 78 inches in height, the XR2 provides a ground clearance of 11 inches. Its suspension system includes an independent MacPherson strut. They also have their own name for the setup called, “Stabilitrak Suspension”, which they claim that it ensures a smooth ride. Hydraulic disc brakes are present on both the front and rear.
Customization options seem pretty solid with 215 body colors and various seat colors, all seats come with cross-stitching designs. The cart comes equipped with gloss black aluminum wheels.
They second model, and their most popular, is the XR4.
XR4
This model has all the same features as the XR2 but includes rear passenger seats. The seat flips up for some extra storage space.
Lifted or lowered as well. All their models that are lowered have to do away with the front brush guard which is a little bit of a bummer.
You can also get the four seater in a forward facing model but I didn’t see any on their site (must be a new model). I did happen to source some pics from one of their dealer website you can check out on this page.
The final model for 2025 is the XR6. These are large, almost like a small car in the garge.

Do They Offer Financing?
If you’re eyeing a MammothEV golf cart, here’s some good news: their financing options make it surprisingly easy to own one. They offer 0% APR plans, which a few other manufacturers offer as well, if you’re not ready for a full upfront payment.
Pricing varies depending on the model and options you choose. For example, I found a 2023 XR4 listed at $14,500—pretty competitive for the features and quality you’re getting, compared to other brands. The new line up for 2025 jumps the price up to around $15,500 or more, so it is not a small investment. I have seen some lower prices offered by their dealers online.
I’m local dealers can give you all the details and help customize the financing plan to fit your budget. Most dealers will negotiate the price to get the sale done, i’m sure. If you’ve been on the fence for a new golf cart, whether it’s a MammothEV, or another brand, this might help you take the leap!
How’s Their Customer Service?
MammothEV has garnered positive feedback from customers, particularly through their authorized dealer, GOAT Golf Carts, who has a 5 star rating. Customers appreciate the smooth purchasing process and the quality of the carts. I found these details on some of the dealer reviews when I Googled.
I searched high and low for the negatives but I couldn’t find one thing. Maybe they are too new? Every dealer has their hiccups and I’m sure Goat Golf Carts has a few but they weren’t anywhere to find online. Which leads me to believe that they do take care of their customers behind the scenes. or they are really good at settling issues behind the scenes.
I DID find a review about some issues a customer had but they seemed to rectify it pretty quick.
MammothEV emphasizes customer satisfaction, offering nationwide dealer support, and encouraging customers to work with approved dealers or local golf cart service shops for services and repairs if you don’t have one near by.
They also provide options for tunes, upgrades, and modifications through their approved dealers. Do be careful when adding your own stuff to the cart and make sure it does not void any warranties. I’ve read some horror stories on the web from multiple dealers from other brands out there.
MammothEV provides a 10-year factory limited warranty and a lifetime lithium-ion battery warranty, reflecting. They really do seem pretty confidence in the durability of their products.
Overall, customer reviews and MammothEV’s commitment to service indicate a positive experience for potential buyers. (at least from what I could find)
The Verdict: Is MammothEV Worth It?
MammothEV seems to deliver where it counts. With the standard feature and custom options, they do a pretty solid job.
But no brand is perfect. Some buyers mention higher prices compared to basic models from other brands. Additionally, availability might vary depending on your location, so checking with local dealers is key.
Overall, MammothEV is a solid choice if you’re looking for a premium golf cart experience. It’s an investment, but one that pays off in quality, comfort, and the joy of cruising in style. So it might be worth the higher price tag… your call though!
