They have built a reputation for upscale, custom builds with brand models like Club Car, EZGO, TitanEV, SpartanEV. But for all their appeal, not every buyer leaves entirely satisfied. While they showcase flashy designs, potential customers should be aware of concerns about pricing and performance before diving in.

Positives of Golf Carts of Cypress

Unique Customization Options: Golf Carts of Cypress stands out for its luxury customization. Customers can get unique carts, styled after iconic cars like Mustangs or Porsche Speedsters. Perfect if you want to impress neighbors and fellow golfers.

Convenient Hours and Nationwide Shipping: They keep their doors open until 6 p.m. on weekdays and offer weekend appointments. Nationwide shipping also makes it easy for out-of-state customers to buy.

Diverse Inventory: From simple models to top-of-the-line, Golf Carts of Cypress has something for all tastes and budgets. Their selection includes models from popular brands like EZGO and Club Car, offering variety and brand confidence.

Negatives of Golf Carts of Cypress

High-End Price Tags: Customization is a core part of their appeal, but it comes with a cost. Some buyers find the price for custom options steep and feel that value doesn’t match the price. While attractive, their luxury upgrades add a significant premium that may not suit everyone.

Performance Issues: Not all models get stellar reviews on functionality. Some customers with off-road tires report rough rides that make the carts less practical than expected. Reports suggest that the visual appeal often overshadows performance, which may disappoint those seeking a smooth, everyday drive.

Inconsistent Repair and Service: Although the staff generally assists in resolving issues, service can be slow. Delays in repairs have left some customers frustrated, particularly given the high prices. These repair issues suggest that after-sales support may not meet all expectations.

Value of Custom Features Questioned: While Golf Carts of Cypress prides itself on unique, luxury carts, some buyers feel that the added features are more decorative than functional. For some, these extras don’t add enough practical value to justify the higher costs, with performance and longevity sometimes falling short of expectations.

Although there are a lot of positive reports from new buyers. These come before they have the cart for any period of time and this is where the concerns start to arise down the road.

We have highlighted some of the reports online that you can find pretty easily yourself. Most of these public posts are posted after they have owned the cart and put some miles on it.

At the sign of an unhappy customer they block you from their page so you can leave a bad review. This explains why I had such a hard time finding review before I bought and they were oddly all 5 stars…

The AGM Batteries lasted 1.5 years. Manufacture won’t help since out of the warranty. I was upsold on getting the nicer batteries because they said they lasted 4-6 years. Very hard to find anyone willing to look at these carts since they are known as the cheap Chinese import cart with gadgets that don’t work. Our screen quit working within months and was covered under warranty with a new fixed model. It still has issues. I expected more when paying 13,500. Highly suggest passing. I couldn’t find many reviews before I bought so hopefully this helps

My parents purchased their golf cart here a year ago and it was bumpy, but we figured it was the off road tires. I was with my Dad when we got it and they were very nice. We have only gone 90 miles, my Mom or Dad driving. It continued to progress to a rougher ride. My Mom noticed the back tire wobbling. We called this business as our cart is under warranty, the continued to blame us for “collision” or “off reading”. The manager was so rude to my Mom that she will not take it in just to be accused of doing something she didn’t do. We paid a tech to come out and it is a baring. Nice Golf Cart, horrible customer service. Just be prepared.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
Seriously, save yourself the time and hassle. I have never been so disappointed with a company in my life. Not only did Danielle (female that answers phones) have an attitude w/my husband, but Mark the GM has been beyond rude since my very first call w/him (when I can even get him to return my call)… READ THE FULL REVIEW HERE.

Buyer Beware. My golf cart never worked properly since I purchased in 2021. Junk components made in china impossible to replace or order parts locally. Customer Service Non Existent. Worse purchase to Date. Filing a Lemon Law Claim against these Clowns.

Very disappointed by the way the manager handles a warranty issue. We were told twice they would have a tech come out to our house to look our Golf cart. Now the manager says that it is just like a vehicle …. You bring your vehicle up to the dealership. Well our Golf cart isn’t street legal …. so I really don’t understand.

If the issue is our fault we don’t expect you guys to pay for the problem. We have money and will take care of anything that isn’t covered under your warranty.

I don’t appreciate how rude the manager is… READ THE FULL REVIEW HERE.

Defective cart! Wobbles like crazy. Spent a lot of money on a brand new golf cart and this thing shakes so bad I can’t even drive it. They sent a mechanic who said they put the brakes on too tight and I just need to drive it for 6 months and it might fix itself. Complete waste!!

I purchased (2) Golf carts from them from all the way across the country over the phone. Both of these EV Titan Carts did and do not work, they lock up after 30 seconds, we spent 8 hours doing exactly what the techs told us to do and they didn’t work. The manager Crystal was fantastic and tried to help. After us trying to fix them and not getting anywhere we requested a refund. She agreed and said she would work out a pickup. We then waited over a week and didn’t hear anything so I emailed to check the status with no replies. After a couple weeks the owner reached out and said that he wasn’t going to honor what she said and was incredibly rude to me. He also implied that he either let her go or layed her off because of an “incident”. After an hour of the most unprofessional arguing he agreed to fly a tech to out to fix them which I agreed to. The tech came out and couldn’t fix them and now they won’t return our messages. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE STAY FAR AWAY.

My Conclusion

Golf Carts of Cypress has an appeal for luxury buyers seeking custom, high-end designs. Yet, potential buyers should carefully consider the steep prices, which some feel don’t always match the product’s value

The staff generally gets high marks for being friendly and helpful, but some customers report inconsistent repair times. For high-cost carts, these delays can be frustrating

While the dealership’s bold designs turn heads, ride quality sometimes falls short, particularly with off-road tires. These carts may look impressive but might not always deliver on comfort and practicality

For buyers seeking both luxury and smooth performance, it’s wise to explore all options before committing fully.
